Revitalized Infrastructure
In 2020, my neighborhood, Indian Woods, faced a series of water main breaks that brought to light the pressing issue of deteriorating infrastructure in our city. This pivotal moment sparked my heightened awareness about the urgent need for our community to address aging water mains and sewer pipes. While significant progress has been made, the critical work of infrastructure revitalization is both financially demanding and labor-intensive. Drawing on my degree in Public Administration, earned after rigorous study in areas such as public sector budgeting, planning theory and methods, public policy, environmental politics and policy, transportation and the city, decision theory and methods, leadership in organizations, and state and local government, I am well-equipped to navigate the complexities of infrastructure improvement. Despite earning my degree several years ago, I am eager to apply my expertise to the challenges our city faces. Together, we can invest in a resilient and sustainable future for Neptune Beach by tackling the vital task of revitalizing our infrastructure. I am committed to the hard work ahead and am ready to lead this charge for our community.

Having built meaningful relationships over the years, I eagerly anticipate expanding this network to include even more voices from our community. I highly value the input of others and believe that diverse perspectives are crucial to informed decision-making. In addition to my academic background, which includes a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and a juris doctor degree, I recognize the profound importance of real-world experience. Raised by hardworking small business owners, I learned early on the value of hands-on learning. Starting as a dishwasher in a restaurant at the age of 14, I embraced the concept of paying my dues and discovered the richness of knowledge that comes from real experiences. I am enthusiastic about the challenge of securing the future of our city and am dedicated to promoting a transparent and inclusive approach to governance.
